The whole family can get a StandUp Paddle Board lesson, take a yoga class and help set a world record doing both at the same time Sept. 28 at Bliss on the Bay.
Ultimate Watersports will host Bliss on the Bay, the areas first StandUp Paddle Board and land and see wellness event, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Maryland’s Gunpowder Falls State Park in the Hammerman Beach Area.
The day will combine paddle board clinics and races, yoga classes, wellness workshops and fitness demonstrations. There will be a children’s fitness zone including a Yoga for Kids workshop and an attempt to set the Guinness Book of World Records for the Largest StandUp Paddle Board Yoga class in history.
HopeWell Cancer Support will be the beneficiary of the event. The wellness village is free but activities such as the races, yoga workshops and kids yoga range in price from $15 to $45. For details visit Bliss on the Bay website.
