MLK volunteer shifts at Banneker-Douglas

The Event will be held in two shifts from 10-11:30 a.m. or 12:30- 2:00 p.m. at the Banneker-Douglas Museum, 84 Franklin St. in Annapolis.

Families can enjoy all the fun and interesting volunteer opportunities while giving back to the community. Assist with “behind the scenes” museum projects. Design Valentines for our troops overseas and their families at home. Make cards for seniors and shut-ins. Join in activities that teach basic conflict resolution and communication skills. Participate in a project for people with developmental disabilities, and more.

Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service at The Banneker-Douglas Museum is Open to all ages. Participants, ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
