Easy Family Recipes: Raspberry-Strawberry Smoothie

Raspberry-Strawberry Yogurt SmoothieSmoothies are a delicious and simple addition to any breakfast, and make a quick, healthy after-school snack too. When fruit isn't quite in season but you're still craving something frosty and fruity, frozen fruit is a great option. Picked at the peak of freshness, you can often cut back on the ice in a recipe and still get terrific fruit flavor, even in the depth of winter. If you want to add a little heft and flavor to your smoothie, add a scoop of vanilla or even chocolate protein powder. You'll add nutritional pow and the addition of protein gives it a little more staying power as well.
