Buy Maryland native plants, heirloom vegetables at spring plant sales

Joe pye weed webUsing plants native to Maryland for landscaping and gardening often means less work for gardeners, allowing more time to expand your landscaping or relax and enjoy your garden and view. Native plants are often hardier as they have evolved and adapted for the climate and soil in this part of Maryland. Native plants may be ornamental, but they also provide food and shelter for animals and support pollinators.
