Jonah and Danny have been swimming together since they were 4 years old. Seems like just yesterday they were neck-n- neck doing the doggie paddle down the lenght of the pool and smiling at each other the whole way. This year they will get medals for being on the team for 5 years. |
| This is my 5-year-old neihbor Annika. It’s her first year on swim team but she is cool as a cucumber. | ![]() |

Because there are so few boys in Adam’s age group, his heat of the Individual Medly (which requires a lap of each stroke) was merged with the 11-12 girls. That meant my twins, Lilly and Adam, raced against each other in lanes right next to each other. They made a pact before the race that the winner would not brag. And they stuck to it. Can you guess who won? |
| Here is Maggie about to swim 100 Free. That’s her friend Rebecca next to her. Maggie is a great swimmer but Rebecca is supper fast. You migth see her in the Olympics one day. Don’t forget you read about her in FranklyStein first. | ![]() |

Here is Lilly taking a first in the 50 freestyle. She was three seconds off the pool record. Now she’s on a mission to knock off three seconds. Look at the muscles in those arms! Makes a momma proud. |
If your curious how the season ends up, I might just give you an update come the end of July. Will Lilly break a record? Who won the IM, Lilly or Adam? Stay tuned and you might just find out.
