Beginning this August, five additional elementary schools in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, will be offering half-day Pre-K programs.

Next school year, Brock Bridge Elementary, Glen Burnie Park Elementary, High Point Elementary, Shady Side Elementary and Southgate Elementary will be joining the 20 elementary schools in the county that currently have Pre-K programs. Of the 25 schools that offer Pre-K, eight schools have full-day programs and 17 have half-day programs. The new locations will begin accepting registration for the 2012-2013 school year on May 1.
