Free Local Parenting Education Opportunity

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting a Developmental Assets educational opportunity for parents. The training includes recommendations on ways that parents can foster connections, supports, and become “plugged-in.”  Participating in this session will help parents identify key resources, advantages, and qualities young people need to thrive.  The dream of a bright future for “our kids” should be everybody’s dream—sign up for this opportunity now!

There will be light refreshments, and child care will be provided for children over the age of 3 (must be potty trained). Simultaneous interpretation in Spanish will be available during the training.
