ThinkstockPhotos 80618106Heads up, middle school parents — on May 14th, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health will be providing free vaccination clinics to help students meet the Maryland state requirements for the 2015-2016 school year.

All students entering the seventh grade are required to have had one Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis/whooping cough) vaccination and one MCV4 (meningococcal) vaccination. Students must be immunized to be allowed in school.

The clinics will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Glen Burnie Health Center, 416 A Street, S.W., Glen Burnie, MD 21061
  • Parole Health Center, 1950 Drew Street, Annapolis, MD 21401

Parents should bring a copy of their child’s immunization records.

For more information call 410-222-4896, or see our article on Maryland’s vaccine requirements for students.
