Summer Fun—Day 28: Body Surf a Mountain

Take the kids on an adventure unlike any other at the Ski Roundtop resort, located about an hour and 45 minutes from Annapolis.

ExtremeSummerOgoBallWDuring the summer, Roundtop Mountain Adventures offers all sorts of thrilling experiences, like OGO Ball, where up to three riders climb inside a giant inflatable ball filled with five gallons of fresh water and roll down the mountain. The ball never goes upside down and riders get soaked as the ball rolls along the trails. OGO Ball is recommended for children 6 and older. Roundtop is one of only three places in the U.S. that offers the OGO Ball experience.

Roundtop Mountain Adventures also has four 100-foot ziplines that start from a two-story tower. Zip lines are for ages 8 and older and all riders must be between 70 and 250 pounds. 2018 brings new dual zip lines and a brand new 600-foot super slide!

Be sure to also check out the bumper boats, cedar maze and chairlift ride up to an observation deck.

Roundtop Moutnain Adventures is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A package that includes all of the mountain adventures costs $30-40.
