Summer Fun—Day 41: Splash and swim at Roger Carter Community Center

Roger Carter Community Center offers awesome pools and water features to cool off on hot days.

RogerCarter The swim center, located in Ellicott City, has spaces for all ages and swimming abilities to have a good time.

For toddlers and younger children, an outdoor splash pad has colorful pipes that spray water and overhead buckets that dump water.

For older kids, the pool has a 10.6-foot deep diving well and diving board, and the zero-slope entry pool has a retractable roof that allows families to enjoy the facility in all seasons.

Drop in for open swim from 12-5 p.m. on weekdays and extended hours on weekends.

Admission costs $5 for ages 3 and older and is free for children 2 and younger.
