Summer Fun—Day 49: Catch Some Crabs!

Spend a fun day on the water with the whole family fishing for crabs.

Crabbing is sure to entertain the kids because it’s more exciting than fishing and you can do it either from a pier or from a boat.

The most basic way to catch a crab is to use a sturdy string with bait tied at one end and a net.

Many of the crabbing piers and parks have beaches, walking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas nearby, making them great destinations for a Sunday family day.

As an added bonus, whatever you catch you get to eat!
