Travel through space on a cool simulator at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, the National Air and Space Museum's companion in Chantilly, Virginia.

Air and SpaceThe Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center has two large hangars with thousands of aviation and space artifacts on display, like aircraft, models, photographs, and more. The collection includes the space shuttle Discovery and the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, the world’s fastest jet.

For an added cost, check out a movie in the IMAX theater or take a ride in one of their flight simulators.

Admission to the museum is free, but parking costs $15. Arrive after 4 p.m. and parking is free.
