Summer Fun—Day 61: Visit the National Aquarium

Want a good deal at the National Aquarium? Visit Friday nights after 5 p.m. for half-price admission.

Celebrate the weekend by heading to Baltimore and visiting the 20,000 sea animals housed in the National Aquarium for a lower cost. Half-Price Friday Nights run all year and bring the price of admission down to $19.95 for adults and $12.45 for children.

Kids will love exploring the aquarium and learning about the different types of creatures. Walk through Shark Alley, a 225,000-gallon, ring-shaped exhibit where different species of sharks circle visitors or stop by the Australia: Wild Extremes exhibit to see some of the most bizarre creatures in the world up close. Make sure to stop by the hands-on exhibit Living Seashore, where kids (and adults) can touch stingrays and jellyfish.

Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Friday:9 a.m.–8 p.m.
