Holiday Fun, Day 37—Go Ice Skating or Hit the Movies

Winter break is coming to a close. Time to have a family adventure! Depending on the weather, can opt for indoor or outdoor ice skating, or, if you're not feeling up to an active event, head to your local movie theater to catch the latest family flick.

In the mood to go ice skating? It's the perfect wintertime activity for all ages, and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor ice rinks in the Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington D.C. area.

See our list of indoor and outdoor ice rinks in the Baltimore-Annapolis-D.C. area for places to strap on skates and get moving, but be sure to double check websites or call rinks before heading out to make sure the times and prices have not changed.

Interested in a more sedentary way to spend a chilly afternoon? Time for a family movie day! Our Popcorn Parent blog reviews the most recent family-friendly movies and gives honest reviews of them from a parenting (and cinematic) viewpoint.

Our most recent reviews include "Aquaman," "Mary Poppins Returns," and "Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald."
