Holiday Fun Day 3—Visit Columbia's Symphony of Lights

Columbia's Symphony of Lights keeps getting bigger, with more features than ever, new displays, a laser light show, 3-D holiday video and walk-through events.

Columbia's 20 minute, drive-through light display has amazing custom light features as well as the 3-D holiday video projected 50 feet high at Merriweather Post Pavilion.

A number of special events will take place during the Symphony’s six weeks. During the Dazzle Dash, visitors may walk through the displays and enjoy kids’ activities, music, food, and prizes. On Tail Lights night (Dec. 11), canine companions can join in the fun and compete in a costume contest. Kiddos can hop in the wagon or stroller and roll alongside their families on Twinkling Tots night (Dec. 4), and guests can celebrate the new year with a walk through the spectacle, a fireworks show (with music!), food, and face painting on Midnight at 7 night, December 31st, . There will also be Military Appreciation Nights.

The drive-through is open Wednesdays through Sundays through Jan. 1, 2017, 5:30-10 p.m. Tickets cost $20 per car Sunday-Friday and $25 on Saturday. Group walk-throughs cost $10 per person with group rates available; they are free for children 4 and younger. Advance reservations are required.
