Holiday Fun, Day 27—Visit Baltimore's Miracle on 34th Street

Nothing keeps the holiday spirit going more than a visit to 34th Street in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood.

Lights are strung from house to house across the street, toy trains follow tracks into and out of homes, and decorations range from traditional nativity scenes to hubcap Christmas trees and bike-wheel snowmen. You might catch glimpse of Mr. Boh, the Abominable Snowman and a Maryland crab or two.

Be sure to park on a side street and walk through the block. Traffic gets backed up on 34th Street itself and much more can be seen on foot.

Lights come on around 5:30 p.m. and shine until 11 p.m. through Dec. 31. Visits are free. For details visit christmasstreet.com.
