Nature is always open, if you ask River’s Edge Forest Play!
There’s not many places we can go at the moment, save the grocery store and out for other essentials. But the outdoors is still open, and for that, River’s Edge Forest Play is excited.
River’s Edge is a nature based exploratory school in West River, Md., that runs programs for kids ages 3 to 13 throughout the year, including daily lessons during the school year and camps in the summer.
So if you’re looking for fun ways to explore the outdoors near you, they’ve got a few fun ways to share.
Check out their blog here for a bear hunt, a nature color scavenger hunt, finding forest fairies in your own backyard, and a birding activity. In The Best Nest, challenge your kids to go on a walk in your neighborhood and see how many bird sights and sounds you can find! There’s also a compation video and great pdf to detail the activity!
Now go outside and have some fun!
