An Interview with John Hopkins University School of Medicine
A career in the health field can mean so much. We have Nakiya Showell, M.D., M.H.S., M.P.H., Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Pediatrician, Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, help us explore the possibilities. She will discuss what a career in healthcare looks like, what interests a kid might have that would correspond to a career in healthcare (not everyone is a doctor or nurse, plus all the research fields) and what educational steps and/or programs kids should consider if they want a career in a healthcare field.
