Jacqueline Paterson is passionately devoted to her career and cannot imagine her life as anything but a speech language pathologist. To her, communication is the most important aspect of being a human, distinguishing us from all other forms of life. Communication is power, and is the gateway to creating the life one aspires to. She strongly believes that all people are entitled to resources to maximize their communication skills to better enable them to have their emotional, academic, intellectual, social and professional needs met. She has dedicated her life to enhancing communication for people of all ages and cultures.
Jacqueline Paterson has over 20 years experience as a speech language pathologist, both locally and internationally. She graduated from the Hearing and Speech Department at the University of Maryland with a B.A. in 1983 and an M.A. in 1987. She obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association, ASHA, in 1988 and has maintained both her ASHA certification and state licensure from the Maryland Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology since then. She has a wide breadth of experience treating the pediatric through geriatric populations for a broad spectrum of speech, language, learning and swallowing disorders and foreign accent modification.Address: 58 Jones Station Road
