Lights on the Bay

Kick off your holiday season with a drive through Lights on the Bay—one of the best-loved holiday traditions in Annapolis.

Take the family through the festive two-mile stretch in Sandy Point State Park and see over 70 animated and stationary light displays at this annual tradition. In addition to the popular classic displays including a colonial village inspired by historic Annapolis and one of Naval Academy midshipmen tossing their hats in the air, you can see the North Pole Village and Enchanted Fairy Tales displays.

Scavenger hunts make the drive fun for kids, challenging them to find items within the show, answer display-related questions and enter a drawing to win prizes.

General admission for Lights on the Bay, which is sponsored by the Anne Arundel County SPCA, is is $20 per car. 3D Glasses available for $5. The event runs 5–10 p.m. daily through Jan. 2. For details, visit lightstonthebay.org.
