Winter is the perfect time for ice skating, and there are plenty of options thanks to seasonal pop-up rinks!

Outdoors

Quiet Waters Park

Season begins November (weather permitting)

3-9 p.m. Monday; Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, closed Christmas and Thanksgiving

Every hour on the hour, you can drop by this outdoor skating rink in front of the Visitor Center in Annapolis for an open skate or even take some lessons! Season passes for individuals and families are available, and there are skates and helmets to use on site.

Glen Burnie Outdoor Ice Skating

Early November through Feb. 28

1-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday; closed Christmas and Thanksgiving

Skate two hours every day at this outdoor skating rink with a family season pass or just drop in for a session after enjoying seasonal activities in town! You can schedule up to two weeks in advance for a two-hour time slot and there are group discounts available for Scouts, churches, schools and others. Check back for updates on extended holiday hours.

Talbot County Parks and Recreation Ice Skating

1-3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday evening, 7-9 p.m. Saturday evening and 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday

This indoor ice skating rink in Easton has public skate with extended hours Saturday evenings beginning in October. Skate rentals are free during daytime hours. Dates and times may change; find the most updated information online or Facebook.
