The Imagination Movers — well known to the preschool set for their Disney Junior TV series — will be at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore on June 28.
Laugh, sing, and dance along with the Emmy award-winning New Orleans-based Movers including Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche and Scott “Smitty” Smith. The rock concert experience will be at The Maryland Zoo’s Waterfowl Lake Pavilion at 1 p.m.
Kids and parents can sing along with the Movers’ choruses, learn ridiculous dances and see the confetti cannons, along with giant smoke rings and roll after roll of flying toilet paper.
“We love and appreciate all of our fans,” says “Mover Dave” Poche. “We can’t wait to put on an amazing show. … It’s going to be so much fun; we guarantee everybody will need a nap afterward.”
Single tickets are $20 for zoo members and $25 for others. Family four-packs are available for $60 (member) or $75 (non-member). Non-member tickets also include admission to the zoo on show day.
For an additional $25, fans can attend a special VIP meet and greet that includes a chat with the band, time to take pictures and autographs. Children must attend the meet and greet with an adult. One VIP ticket per person is required for ages 2 and up. Tickets are available at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore website.
