Kennedy Krieger offers free autism screenings for eligible at risk infants

infantKennedy Krieger Institute hopes to help identify the red flags of autism spectrum disorders in infants and is now offering free developmental assessments for those at most risk.

The pilot initiative aims to help identify signs of ASD in infant siblings of children with ASD as early as possible. Research studies have found that for families who have one child with autism, the chance of a subsequent sibling developing the disorder is one in five.
