Fun Ways to Celebrate
4th of July Celebration with Historic Annapolis.

St. Michaels Big Band Night & Fireworks

Watch the St. Michaels fireworks display.from the waterfront campus of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Hosted by the St. Michaels Fire Department, the fireworks show will launch after dusk on July 2. Admission: $10 adults, $5 youth
Rock Hall Fireworks over the Harbor!

This year’s show will run a full 30 minutes and is hosted by the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Department.
Havre de Grace’s Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks
Celebrate independence with us with a fabulous free concert by the Maryland Military Band at Concord Point Park. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Food and drink available for purchase. Bring your own chairs or blankets. Best view of the fireworks starting about 9:30 p.m.
Baltimore Inner Harbor
Concerts begin at 4pm. Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm.
Columbia, Lakefront at Lake Kittamaqundi
9:20pm Fireworks. Enjoy food from popular food trucks like DMV Taqueria, Blowfish Poke, Dizzy Cow Pizza, and Kona Ice. Two live music bands on the Lakefront stage. The 20-minute fireworks show will start around 9:20 p.m. Free parking is available at the Mall at Columbia.
Catonsville 4th of July
Catonsville’s Independence Day Celebration is an old tradition that dates back to 1947. Its main highlight is the Annual Grand Parade that starts at 3:00 p.m., but there are events from morning to night to celebrate the holiday. Thousands of residents and guests line the streets and set out chairs on Frederick Road to watch. Other entertainment includes children’s games, races, and concerts. One of the largest fireworks displays in the region starts after 9:00 p.m. Check their Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.
Annapolis 4th of July Fireworks and Parade
Parade starts at 6:30pm and Fireworks start at 8pm. Annapolis launches its fireworks from a barge in Annapolis Harbor. The best viewing areas include public spaces Northeast of the Severn River, City Dock, along the Naval Academy Bridge (limited parking area), any of the street end parks facing Spa Creek, and aboard a boat in the Annapolis harbor. The Spa Creek Bridge will be closed to traffic from Eastport into Annapolis beginning at 6 p.m. The bridge will remain closed until the conclusion of the fireworks at approximately 10 p.m.
Charles County Fairgrounds
8440 Fairground Road, LaPlata, Maryland – 3-10pm. Enjoy great food, pony rides and live music that lead up to the grand finale with an outstanding Fourth of July Fireworks Show. Come for free.
Frederick’s 4th: An Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate the largest Independence Day celebration in Frederick County with two stages of entertainment along side family friendly rides, activities, food and fireworks from Noon to Dusk.
Queen Anne’s County Annual Fireworks and Family Fun Celebration
The Annual Fireworks and Family Fun Celebration is scheduled for July 4, 2022. We will be having family fun activities at the Chesapeake Heritage and Visitors Center. Residents can bring a chair or blanket and enjoy dinner and a firework show from the lawn next to the visitor’s center. Free parking is available at the old outlets, located at the beginning of Piney Narrows Road and a complimentary shuttle will be provided.
Shadyside 4TH OF JULY PARADE
July 4, 10-11am
This traditional small-town Independence Day Parade sponsored by the Shady Side Community Center has become a local South County favorite event for the 4th of July. Shady Side Community Center.

The 17-minute display will be launched from both sides of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
Ocean City 4th of July Celebrations
Music at the Caroline Street Stage will kick off at 8 p.m. with the unique Firework Show beginning at 9:30 p.m. The show’s rare features will be a departure from a traditional display, and will include new fireworks features by Celebration Fireworks Company. Unlike traditional firework displays, this year’s show will include a few surprises. To capture the show as the spectacle it should be, you will need to enjoy the celebratory display from the beach between the amusement pier and 3rd Street.
