Last week students from Kennard Elementary in Centreville set sail aboard the schooner SULTANA and did their part for the Chesapeake Bay’s ecosystem.
As part of a project where students raise American eels in the classroom, every third-grade student from Kennard Elementary—more than 200 in all—visited Chestertown to sail on SULTANA and release their eels into the Chester River.
