Student Entrepreneurs are invited to have a booth in a special section at KIDS Fest reserved just for student businesses. Does your student have a product to sell? Are they prepared to meet with the public and introduce themselves and sell their product? The KIDS Fest is a good place for kids to experience the sales process and set up their own display. This opportunity is intended for students. Parents may assist but should not be the primary person working in the booth.

How do I apply? Can I apply as part of a group?

The application must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than 3 participants per business.

When is the application deadline?

The deadline to apply is February 1st or until all available spots are filled.

How will the fair be set up?

KIDS Fest is an in-person event at the PIP Moyer Recreation Center in Annapolis. There will be a special section for student businesses.

What are the rules?

This event is designed to give children the experience of selling a product or service. The product should be something created by the student, not reselling another product.

Parents of younger children may gently assist, but the children should be responsible for set up, customer interaction, and sales. We expect the children to do as much as possible themselves.

We can not have shared parent/child businesses at this time.

How much does it cost to participate?

The cost of participation is $20 per business entry. (Not per person)
