Join the Spa Creek Conservancy for a free day of fun and learning.
Families with children of all ages are invited to learn about Spa Creek at the Kids on the Creek event, Saturday August 25 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Truxtun Park Boat Ramp, Annapolis. This free event is the perfect way to celebrate and learn about the wonders of Spa Creek, home to lots of indigenous Maryland wildlife and flora!
There are plenty of kid friendly activities, including a scavenger hunt with prizes that will have the kids exploring all around Truxton Park, boat rides and free food and drink!
- Free boat rides begin at 11:30 a.m.(limited number available, first-come, first-served).
- Seining and Fishing identification and counting at noon and 2 p.m.
- Native plants will be available for those who want to create pollinator gardens.
*Boat rides are for children ages 5 and up. Due to limited space only one parent allowed with children ages 5-8. No parents for children over the age of 8.
