Kids Trek Too is kids supporting other kids with cancer. Families can meet with Justin Berk and his Maryland Trek team as they hike across Maryland in support of children with cancer. On Thursday, August 10, the Maryland Trek crosses into Anne Arundel County on the B & A Trail where kids and their families can join the Trek from 10 am – 1 pm, for a 2-mile hike to raise money for children with cancer.
The Maryland Trek with Justin Berk, is a team hike and bike endurance event that crosses the state from Deep Creek to Ocean City every August. The event is a primary fundraiser for Just In Power Kids, a Maryland-based nonprofit for children enduring cancer.
The Kids Trek portion is a 2-mile hike at a walking pace that begins behind the Lidl grocery store in Glen Burnie, where the trail begins. The hike extends to right behind Marley Station where the group sends the team down the trail and returns back to the parking area/start of the trail.
There are sure to be surprises and goodies along the way. This is great way to get involved in giving back to the community all while getting in some exercise. Perfect event for families and kids!
