Memorial Walk to Remember the 9/11 Victims – 10th Anniversary
The Freestate Happy Wanderers Volksmarching Club is sponsoring a 9/11 Memorial walk event on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Montpelier Mansion, 9650 Muirkirk Road, Laurel, Maryland 20708. Start between 9 AM and 1 PM and finish by 4 PM. Commemorative signs and lanyards with the victims’ names will be featured at the event for walkers. The event features a 5-Km and 10-Km trail on natural surfaces and along residential sidewalks. A moment of silence will be observed at 10 AM.
