Even if the early upsets in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament ruined your chances of winning the office pool, you could still score big during March Madness. Several downtown Annapolis businesses are throwing a March Madness Sidewalk Sale Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, 2015, and giving away a shopping spree worth $600.
Retailers, restaurants, cafes and businesses also offer discounts on food and merchandise during the two-day March Madness event.
Paired with the Annapolis Film Festival, which opens Thursday, March 26, and runs through Sunday, March 29, downtown Annapolis offers several diversions from basketball.
With more than 70 films in four days, there’s a variety of documentary and narrative shorts and full-length offerings, including films for families and students.
During the March Madness Sidewalk Sale, shoppers can register at each participating location to win a grand prize gift card package worth more than $600. Each participating business donates a $25 gift card.
