Tour the Pride of Baltimore II Friday, March 25, at City Dock in Annapolis during a special Maryland Day celebration.
Pride of Baltimore II, America’s Star-Spangled ambassador, will be part of a Maryland Day celebration Friday at 11:30 a.m. Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford will join local elected officials, the Fort McHenry Fife and Drum Corps, and Fort Rangers to mark the occasion, which commemorates the landing of the first European settlers in Maryland.
There will be deck tours of the tall ship beginning immediately after the program and continuing through 4 p.m.
For more than 25 years, the Pride of Baltimore II has worked to promote historical maritime education, foster economic development and tourism, and represent the people of Maryland in ports throughout the world.
