Wondering where to buy a fresh, local turkey in Maryland for your Thanksgiving or Christmas table?
(Updated October 2020)
Below are Maryland farms that sell fresh turkeys. But don’t wait! Thanksgiving pre-orders have already started at many farms and with the pandemic there are a limited number of fresh turkeys available. Some offer contactless pick-up, a few deliver, most require a deposit, but all guarantee to appreciate your support of local Maryland farms!
In addition, check out your local farmer’s market. Many local poultry farms have their products available for immediate purchase or pre-order when you want farm fresh, but cannot make it to the farm.
