A local organization serving Anne Arundel County, Baltimore and the surrounding region needs help from the community. In recent weeks they’ve had over a dozen requests from organizations trying to help families in the area facing lost income and jobs. The following is a list of needed items:
Dressers, twin mattresses and box springs, lamps, pots and pans with lids, BED FRAMES ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT ARE ADJUSTABLE (AVERAGE FAMILY NEEDS AROUND 4), TWIN SHEETS, FULL SHEETS, AND QUEEN SHEETS, BATH TOWELS, BLANKETS AND COMFORTERS, end tables, night stands, love seats (no sofas until mid June), kitchen tables and chairs, book cases that are of average size.
This group is also in need of gas cards to help offset the costs of delivering these items to families in need, as well as volunteers for pickup and delivery of items. Can you help?
