Point Lookout State Park
Point Lookout State Park is located at 11175 Point Lookout Road, Scotland, MD 20687. Its attractions include historic sites, a boat launch and rentals, canoeing, fishing, swimming, picnicking, camping, trails and cycling.
The lighthouse is only open to the public the first Saturday of the month from April to November. The park’s day use (6 a.m. to sunset) fee for weekends and holidays, May through September, is $5 per MD resident; $6 per out-of-state resident. At all other times, the fee is $3 per vehicle; $4 per out-of-state vehicle. Children in car seats and active military personnel are free. The park is closed at night except for active night fishing.
