Wednesday calls for rain and thunderstorms in parts of Maryland so it is a great day to head inside to the Fire Museum of Maryland.
This museum has the third largest fire fighting collection on display in the world.
See antique fire trucks, learn about historic fires and famous firemen. In the Discovery Room dress up as a fireman and climb aboard a 1938 Mack Engine, ring the bell, run the lights and pull up the hose.
Find out if you have what it takes to be a firefighter.
Open Wednesday – Saturday in the summer 10am-4pm, admission is $12 for adults, $5 for children 2-18 and free for children 2 and under.
