Memorial Day Weekend Celebrations in Maryland

Most events have been canceled or have gone virtual, but you can still break out the red, white, and blue to celebrate Memorial Day weekend 2021 in Maryland!

Since most traditional parades or celebrations that have been cancelled or moved to virtual, check out our roundup of events happening this weekend. Memorial Day Parades

Many places have cancelled their Memorial Day parades for 2021, however some are offering virtual options and planning events for 4th of July.

Bowie Memorial Day Parade – 2021
Canceled for 2021. They will be presenting a special broadcast of the best past Memorial Day Parades on May 29 at 11 a.m. Check their website for where to watch.

Annapolis Memorial Day Parade – 2021
Canceled for 2021. Independence Day celebration is currently being planned. Those interested in participating should contact specialevents@annapolis.gov or go to the website.

Memorial Day at Henry Park – 2021
Canceled for 2021

National Memorial Day Parade – 2021
The parade is not available to the public, but will be filmed and televised. The program, Our Sacred Honor: An American Salute, will premiere the weekend of Memorial Day nationwide. See the schedule for viewing at americanveteranscenter.org.
