It seems everyone is into skincare products these days that boast they are GMO-free or free of genetically modified organisms. Personally, I’ve tried a few of these products they can be gentler.
Our mom testers recently tried out MOMiN skincare products for babies that are GMO-free and claim to be gentle and soothing on skin. MOMiN is USDA Organic Certified.
Sara Glaser of Arnold was a big fan of the MOMiN products.
“I love that it has organic ingredients that you can actually pronounce. There’s virtually no scent, so you don’t have to worry about covering up that natural, wonderful baby scent.”
However, as many would say “beauty is at the eye of the beholder.” This also applies to skincare products.
Jemma Meidenbauer of Deale, tried it on herself and disliked the smell of the MOMiN Greenicare Organic Baby Skin Cream with Calendula.
“It said it had a fresh passion fruit bud natural fragrance, but it smells more like a combination of sunscreen and perfume,” she says. “However, it certainly made my skin smooth but I was not a fan of the scent.”
Like many skin care products you really need to try it for yourself and see if you like the scent and how it leaves your skin.
