Looking for a fun Mother’s Day activity? The Bowie Baysox are having a Mother’s Day Celebration!
The deadline to order tickets for the 2014 Bowie Baysox Mother’s Day Celebration at Prince George’s Stadium is Wednesday, May 7, at 3 p.m. The special event will be on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, when the Baysox take on the New Britain Rock Cats at 2:05 p.m.
As part of the Mother’s Day Celebration, families can play catch on the field before the game, from 12:30-1:15 p.m. with a brunch served starting at 1 p.m. in the Diamond View Restaurant.
The buffet includes fresh fruit and cheese, Palm Beach salad, smoked salmon, assorted bread and pastries, scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, applewood smoked bacon, maple sausage, seafood Newburg, braised veal tips, chicken scaloppini saltimbocca, rice pilaf, green beans almondine, fresh-baked berry bread pudding. Iced tea, lemonade and unlimited soft drinks.
Stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m. and food is served from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Tickets for the Mother’s Day Brunch are $39 for ages 13 and older or $34 for Baysox ticket plan holders, $25 for children 6-12 years old and $10 for children 3-5 years old. Children 2 and younger are free.
