Movie Review: The Ides of March (R)

TheIdesofMarch ChesapeakeFamilyMovieReviewKernel Rating (out of 5): whole-popcorn-kernalwhole-popcorn-kernalwhole-popcorn-kernalwhole-popcorn-kernalhalf-popcorn-kernal

Length: 101 minutes         MPAA Rating: R

Age Appropriate for: 15+. The movie revolves around political betrayal, so there is lots of cursing, a few sex scenes and much fast-talking scheming. Not just for 17-year-olds, though; younger, politically interested teens could see it with adults.

‘The Ides of March’ doesn’t say nothing new about politics, but George Clooney’s fourth film as a director is a wonderful look into the secret and sinister sides of the fight between elephants and donkeys.
