Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore has a new four legged staff member who also happens to be soft, furry and extremely loveable.
Yuba is Mt. Washington Pediatric’s facility dog, having made the 102-bed children’s hospital his new home earlier this year. The 2-year-old Labrador-Golden Retriever mix arrived after the hospital completed a year-long application and training process with Canine Companions for Independence®, the largest non-profit organization for assistance dogs in the United States.
