Music and fun for kids at the Clean Water Concert Series

Check out the free outdoor Clean Water Concert Series in downtown Easton this summer with great music and activities for kids.

Clean Water ConcertThe concerts are held on Harrison Street between Dover and Goldsborough streets June 24 and July 8. Kids events start at 6 p.m. and music runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters, the Navy’s official chorus, will perform on June 24. The Sea Chanters sing an array of styles including traditional choral music, sea chanteys, patriotic fare, opera, Broadway and contemporary music.

Exhibits and activities for the kids include trivia games, sidewalk chalk (draw your favorite Bay critter), bubbles, face paint, crafts, a bean bag toss game, snacks and more.

July 8 will feature XPD’s Motown and R&B.

The Clean Water Concert Series is a way to celebrate the community and raise awareness about restoring health to local rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. It is sponsored by the Avalon Foundation and Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
