The festival runs Oct. 16 to Nov. 13 and includes Europe’s most talented performers for children in live shows of puppetry, dance, music, theater, storytelling, film and more. Catch “Mister Crobs The Magician” from France, “Puss in Boot” from Bulgaria, music and dance from Ireland, “Red Riding Hood” from Luxembourg, Imagination Theatre from Austria and much more.
Designed for children aged 2 through 12 and their families, the festival is the largest children’s performing arts festival in the United States. “All of the embassies and organizations work together to transform the capital region into an action-packed cultural adventure for young people and their families, with no passport required,” a press release on the event explains.
While all of the performances are free, some require reservations, which can be made at the Kids Euro Festival website.. Check the site for the schedule of events as well.
