Nominate a Queen Anne’s County student hero

Queen Anne's County Public SchoolsNominations are now open for the Queen Anne’s County Hero Club.

Do you know a student with a “Hero” story or someone who exhibits heroic actions? All students of Queen Anne’s County Public School’s from grades Pre-K to 12 are eligible. Nominations are open for students who have done something for the good of others despite at being a risk. According to the school system, where there are heroes, bullies disappear.

Each month a HERO will be chosen for recognition at the Board of Education Meeting and the student will receive a medal, HERO wrist bracelet, QACPS hat and membership into the Hero Club for an end-of-the-year Pizza Party with
the Superintendent of Schools.

All nominations not chosen for the month will be included in the following months’ selections. To nominate a student, fill out the form available on the Queen Anne’s County County Public School website and return it to the Office of Public Information/QACPS, 202 Chesterfield Ave., Centreville,
MD 21617 or email it to offpub@qacps.org .
