The fall always seems to rush by with back to school adjustments taking a lot of time and energy. This fall is proving to be even more challenging with most everyone back to a more normal school experience after COVID. Teachers are working hard to bring kids up to speed and after talking to them we compiled a list of things that parents can do to help support teachers and increase learning in the classroom.

Go during an open house and then visit again while school is in session. Each school has its own personality and vibe. Aside from meeting your child’s needs you must feel comfortable there too since your school family will play a big part of your life.

A mission statement will help each member of your family make decisions which align with the most important values of your family. As your children are older and away from you more and more, having established expectations will help guide them in their choices.
