Chesapeake Family Life is partnering with The Summit School on Monday, October 29, to discuss learning differences such as dyslexia.
October is Dyslexia Awareness Month and dyslexia is the most common form of a learning disability. We will be doing a Facebook Live segment with Dr. Joan Mele-McCarthy, Executive Director of The Summit School, who will address the common misconceptions about dyslexia. She will discuss basic myths and truths about dyslexia, as well as answer questions and explain signs to look for if you are concerned your child might have a learning disability.
Join us on Monday, October 29 at 12:30pm as we broadcast this Dyslexia Q&A at The Summit School. If you would like to submit questions beforehand, please email your question to Claire Dougherty Kovacs at clairek@jecoannapolis.com.
