In a Navy town, many kids have aspirations to become a naval officer. We spoke to Officer Candidate Alexander Boettinger, a Baltimore native and graduate of Mt. St. Joseph High School, who discussed his summer in the rigorous 13-week Officer Candidate School program in Newport, R.I.
The recent graduate of University of Tennessee Knoxville, with a degree in Nuclear Engineering, Boettinger is finishing OCS and moving on to the Navy to work on submarines.
