Discover what birds are out and about in Maryland during the winter.
This half-day event is patterned after the National Audubon Society’s
Christmas Bird Count.
What to bring: Binoculars and a field guide if you have them (some will
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes or boots.
Bring a brown-bag lunch and a curiosity for birding!

The workshop will provide information about conservation and art. Live and mounted waterfowl will serve as models. Students will be encouraged, but not required, to participate in the Maryland Federal Junior Duck Stamp Design Contest.
