Prince George’s County School’s Inerim Superintendent Alvin Crawley will stay on until a new superintendent has been named, PG County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III announced recently.
This agreement comes a few weeks after Dr. Crawley previously indicated that he would leave on June 3. Crawley’s decision to stay allows the County’s 124,000 student system to remain focused on closing schools properly and ensuring a smooth transition for the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year until a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is selected.
