Help Maryland reach its goal of planting and registering 100,000 trees by giving the gift of a tree this holiday.
The State is close to reaching its goal of planting and registering 100,000 trees by 2013 through the Marylanders Plant Trees program.
Governor Martin O’Malley reminds citizens that there is still time to plant and be counted.
“Reversing deforestation is complicated; planting a tree is simple,” said Gov. O’Malley. “I’d like to thank everyone who has helped us plant more than 91,000 trees across our State, and encourage all Marylanders to plant a tree and help us meet our goal to build a more sustainable future for generations to come.”
