Annapolis Newman Street Playground

The Newman Street playground in Annapolis is a shady, mulch covered area with multiple distinct areas of play and an adjacent basketball court. Climbing opportunities and sliding boards are a main feature of the playground. Big kid/little kid swings are situated close enough to the slides so that parents can push one kid while watching another on the slides. And for people with toddlers there is an entirely enclosed smaller playground next to the elementary school. City Dock and the Market House are a quick five minute walk away where duck watching is a popular toddler activity.
There is limited onstreet parking on Newman Street and paid parking available on the weekends in the school lot. The Market House and Harbor Master buildings have the closest restrooms.
